The start of a new year always brings with it so many possibilities. With New Year’s Resolutions fresh in our minds, we feel the urgency and desire to try new things, be kinder to others, and just be more present. But, that feeling doesn’t have to flee come February.
One of the best ways to experience new things and gain that fresh perspective again throughout the year is by traveling to new places. We’ve come up with an awesome travel bucket list that we hope will inspire you to create your own 2019 travel bucket list.
Each of these destinations can be accessed directly from St. Louis’ Lambert International Airport, and we can help you get there quickly and easily with our new daily nonstop jet service with Contour Airlines.
What’s on your 2019 travel bucket list? We’d love to know! Feel free to tell us below in the comments.
Our 2019 bucket list:
Las Vegas, NV (Frontier, Southwest)
Sin City is always growing and changing with new attractions and events popping up all the time. Whether you’ve been to this city before or not, 2019 is a great time to visit! From the excitement of The Strip to the calm beauty of Red Rock Canyon and the Hoover Dam, there truly is something for everyone in Las Vegas. There are many nightly shows to choose from and gorgeous hotel pools to enjoy. We recommend visiting in the Spring for perfect weather.
Cleveland, OH (Southwest)
Cleveland’s tourism scene is certainly growing, which is why we think it’s such a great destination to visit in 2019! There are many family-friendly activities to enjoy, like a trip to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo or Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The culinary scene in Cleveland is every foodie’s dream, with breweries and wineries to top it all off. We recommend visiting in the early Fall, such as September or October.
Seattle, WA (Alaska, Southwest)
Seattle is famous for its fish markets and the Space Needle, but there’s a lot more to it than just those sights. Have you ever thought that used chewing gum could be beautiful? We’re willing to bet that Seattle’s gum wall might change your perspective. With other unique attractions such as the Museum of Pop Culture and the Seattle Center Monorail, you’ll never find yourself bored in this city. We recommend visiting in the summer months.
Tampa, FL (Southwest, Sun Country)
Tampa isn’t as heavily traveled as other major spots in Florida, but this Gulf Coast city is totally worth the trip. With the Ybor City Neighborhood as the center of your dining and nightlife plan, you’re guaranteed to have a good time when the sun goes down. During the day, enjoy the thrills at Busch Gardens or get up close and personal with animals at The Florida Aquarium or ZooTampa. We recommend visiting Tampa in the winter months and don’t forget to check into military installation lodging. Though they aren’t always available, there are plenty of installations around Tampa that might have lodging availability.
